Connection Packages

What kinds of connections does 3DU make?
I’m glad you asked! 3DU offers referrals pertaining to:

  • Community-strengthening Initiatives (e.g. mentoring, programs, advocacy campaigns, etc.)
  • Strategic Planning & Evaluation
  • Policy Matters (research, development, advocacy)
  • Communications (social media, writing, editing)
  • Event Planning, Promotion, & Coordination
  • Creative & Performing Arts (booking connections)
  • Custom consulting packages based on your specific needs. If it’s not listed here, ask anyway; you will get the assistance you need or a connection to someone who can help you.

Breaking into new territory? Trying to find a different route through previously familiar territory? Tell me what you or your organization is trying to do in the realm of social justice. Include an overview (3 pages or less) of your goals, resources, staff, existing network, and anything else you think I should know. I will then put you in touch with 3 people who offer services that can help you with your challenges and/or complement your strengths.

That’s right! In the spirit of social justice, I’ll let YOU pay whatever you think
your experience with 3DU is worth, plus your feedback on our collaboration.
(No one will be turned away for lack of ability to pay.) 

Package Options:

  • Conference call:
    Meet your new connections live online! I will host a 30 minute introductory session via your choice of Skype or GoogleTalk. During this time I will facilitate a brainstorming session that will allow you to walk away with a preliminary. Before the meeting, you will all receive a contact sheet outlining each person’s background, interests, & skills.
  • Email:
    Short on time? Through this quick introduction, I will connect you to each of your 3 new connections via a personalized email containing contact information, background, interests, & skills.
  • Youth ages 25 & under:
    3DU services are FREE for you! Let me know what your goals & interests are (feel free to say that you need help figuring these things out), & I will connect you with some folks who can share their experiences with you. All I ask in exchange is to keep me & your supporters updated quarterly on how you’re doing.

Social Media for Conferences

So you’re hosting a conference? Are your attendees wracking their brains trying to decide which sessions to attend? Want to provide something for the people who can’t attend but would benefit from a recap afterward? Hire 3DU to live-tweet the events, write a highlights blog post, and maybe even teach your attendees to do the same!

For the cost of registration, travel, & lodging you get:

  • Pre-event consultation  Social media strategy for your conference, including hashtag
    (Includes aggregation that you can post on your website)

BONUS: The day before the conference, I will teach a 90 minute Twitter Crash Course (TCC) for $10 per attendee . The course includes:
